Here we are, with the sunlight in our eyes and raindrops on our head dredging through the mud towards a tomorrow where we can see our bright youth dream away in the wind of change; we are-> ZEST. An NGO of its own type, we are professionals with a different perspective. ZEST has the potent to journey through a long never ending course, the destination which is the mass, the commoners at the very grass root level.

It was a long cherished dream come true for few young men to reach out to the masses and to do something worthwhile for them in the most feasible manner as one of them, and to make a proper channel through which benefits can be ultimately made available to the people who need it most. The inception of this organization was not only a dream come true but also the starting of a sojourn of its own kind. The day on which we got the much needed legal nod to incorporate ourselves as a registered organization from the designated department of the government was 16th January, 2006, which was the day we were ecstatic with not only joy but was also determined and had the grit on our mind to make this starting a happening one, in every way possible, so that at the end of the day this organization should mean some thing to everybody who are involved with this organization in some way or the other.Everybody from the members to the benefactors should feel that it is a organization of their own, it’s not an alien thing, it’s not an organization which is looking at different diasporas of the pathos of life from outside of the circle, but from within the circle like a commoner; we are from the masses and for the masses substantiating our unique tag line “PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE”.

ZEST is envisioned as a non governmental and non profitable organization to provide a sustainable basis for improvement and empowerment of the socially and economically deprived section of people. The identity of ZEST will be favored by substantial commitment to gender equitable social transformation through efficient governance, accountability and transparency.
